ADMISSION NOTICE FOR UG/IMD: SESSION 2022-23
Dated, the 6th April 2022
No. MU/ACA/ADMISSION/2022-23: Online Applications are invited for admission into the following Under Graduate (UG) programmes of the University for the academic session 2022-23 through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG)-2022). The following UG programmes may be treated as Integrated Masters Degree (IMD) programmes.

Candidates must who passed/cleared 10+2 examination or Senior School Certificate examination from a recognized Board/Council/University in any stream (Science/Humanities/Commerce) or equivalent examination should have acquired the basic knowledge of Dance / Sankritana/Martial Arts (Thang-ta) with a minimum of three years Foundation/Certificate Course from a recognized school, college, university or institution funded/sponsored by the State or Central Government. |

i) Candidates who passed/cleared 10+2 examination or Senior School Certificate examination from a recognized Board/Council/University in any stream (Science/Humanities/Commerce) or equivalent examination along WITH Music as a subject of study. OR ii) Candidates who passed/cleared 10+2 examination or Senior School Certificate examination from a recognized Board/Council/University in any stream (Science/Humanities/Commerce) or equivalent examination along WITHOUT Music as a subject of study can also apply provided the candidate has passed anyone of the following examinations. a) Madhyama Examination of the Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, Lucknow. b) Three years Junior Diploma Examination of Banaras Hindu University, U.P. c) Senior Diploma Examination of the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad d) Madhyama Examination of A.B.G.M.V. Mandal, Mumbai e) Madhyama Examination of Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh f) Any other equivalent examinations recognized by UGC. |
National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET (UG)-2022 for admission to the UG and IMD programs in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. NTA has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the Undergraduate Entrance Tests for Manipur University for the academic session 2022-23 as per the directive of UGC.
Candidates who desire to appear in CUET(UG)-2022 may read the detailed information bulletin hosted on https://cuet.samarth.ac.in, www.nta.ac.in and the Manipur University Prospectus/information brochure for UG and IMD Programs available at www.manipuruniv.ac.in carefully for eligibility, scheme / duration / timings / medium / fee of examination, syllabus, examination centres, important dates, admission procedure etc. before applying.
Candidates may apply online only at https://cuet.samarth.ac.in during the period specified above. The exam fee must also be paid online through a payment gateway, using debit/credit cards or internet banking or Paytm. The University will not have any separate Form fill up procedure from this year onwards. It is mandatory to appear CUET (UG)-2022 for admission to any programme at MU.
