Qualification - Candidate should be 12th or equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks for general category and minimum 45% for SC Category...
The State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab has issued in the First Week of September 2022 Detailed Notification for admission into Diploma in Elementary Education / Elementary Teacher Training Certificate Course for a period of Two (02) Years.

The State Council of Educational Research & Training is likely to officially commence conduct of the Counseling during July 2022 and Waiting List anticipated in August 2022 for Wait Listed for Counseling involving i) Verification of Documents / Certificates / Testimonials, etc. The State Council of Educational Research & Training shall declare within Three Days of the Counseling the Results in the shape of Merit List for admission into D.El.Ed. / ETT Certificate Course for the Academic Year 2022. The Candidates subsequent to detailed scrutiny and found bona fide would be summoned for ONLY ONE ROUND OF COUNSELING for Verification of their Educational Documents / Caste Certificates / Domicile Testimonials for admission in the State Council of Educational Research & Training affiliated Government District Institutes of Education & Training and Private Institutions. The State Council of Educational Research & Training shall also prepare One Wait List comprising 25% candidates for admission in the D.El.Ed.

60% Seats of the Total Intake leading to Admission in the Private Institutions shall be filled in compliance with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulation 2009 shall be Combined Merit Based Centralized Admission through Centralized Counseling by the State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT). 40% Seats under the Management Quota (MQ) shall be filled by the concerned Institutions / District Institutes of Education & Training subject to fulfilling of the Essential Minimum Educational Qualification as prescribed by the State Council of Educational Research & Training. However, the State Council of Educational Research & Training affiliated Government Institutions / District Institutes of Education & Training shall seek permission from the State Council of Educational Research & Training for admission of the candidates.

Reservation:

For all the Institutions, Reservation for admission shall apply as per the Punjab Government Policy Guidelines.

Note: In case of a TIE IN MERIT, preference shall be given to the candidate with Higher Merit in l0+2, and In case of further TIE in 10+2 Merit, Preference would be given to a Candidate higher in Age.
